

Emily Sissell
VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Emily Sissell serves as Vice President of Public Affairs, bringing more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, government relations, and public policy. She is recognized for her ability to craft compelling narratives, drive impactful campaigns, and manage high-profile initiatives across both the public and private sectors.
Sissell was named one of the Orange County Register’s Top 125 Most Influential People in Orange County in 2023 for her media influence and political engagement efforts. She also received the U.S. Department of State’s Meritorious Honor Award for her leadership in developing several key initiatives for the U.S. Secretary of State.
Before joining Randle Communications, Sissell served as Director of Public Affairs at Swing Strategies, where she led statewide campaigns, coalition building, and media outreach on issues spanning public safety, healthcare, and labor. She worked on coalition building for multiple statewide ballot initiatives in 2024, including Props 35 and 36, both of which passed with the highest margins of any measure on the November ballot.
Sissell also served as communications director for senior leadership in the California State Legislature, where she developed long-term communications strategies, oversaw policy rollouts, and built strong relationships with national, state, and local media to amplify legislative priorities. Earlier in her career, she held several roles at the White House, the U.S. Department of State, and Congress, advising executive leadership on public policy issues and managing high-profile communications initiatives.
A native of Orange County, Sissell earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business administration from the University of Southern California, where she was a member of the Trojan Marching Band. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, running on beach trails, and traveling to new destinations.
