Evan Harris counsels and supports clients on public affairs, strategic communications and public relations to drive impactful communications, messaging and reputation work to key stakeholders. With more than 14 years of experience in state government, public policy, strategic communications and public affairs campaigns, Evan’s communications background has touched multiple industries. Before joining Randle, he advised clients in health care, addressing reputation work around complicated hospital and health system operations issues, payor/provider negotiations, merger and acquisition strategic communications, board and health system CEO visibility and earned media, health care stakeholder management and engagement and hospital public affairs campaigns. Evan worked with hospitals and health systems in more than 10 states.

Before working in health care, he helped lead a public education and strategic communications campaign for one of the largest public infrastructure and water management projects in the U.S. He has advised clients on communications, earned media and crisis work in water policy, energy, higher education and economics.

He started his career in the California State Legislature as a legislative aide and communications director. Evan, his wife Erin and their kids live outside of Sacramento.
