Taylor Davies joined Randle Communications as an intern in August 2018 and became the firm’s newest account coordinator in November. Davies assists with the day-to-day operations and social media management of various clients in the firm’s public affairs practice, including Behavioral Health Action, Friant Water Authority and the Capital SouthEast Connector.
Prior to joining Randle, Taylor interned with the Office of Congressman John Garamendi in his Yuba City district office, where she assisted with constituent correspondence and outreach. A native of Colusa County, Davies graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in history. As part of her studies at Boston College, Davies led an independent research project on women’s rights in Middle Eastern politics and traveled to Paris to study the laws of the European Union.
At Boston College, she had the honor of serving as the finance chair for Strong Women, Strong Girls – a nonprofit group of college women that mentored third through fifth grade girls in the greater Boston area. It was during her collegiate studies that Davies developed a passion for political science and decided to pursue a career in public affairs.
In her free time, Davies enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends in her hometown of Colusa. She is an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants, the Patriots, Jesuit education and the city of Boston.
