Rachael Serrao joined Randle Communications in January 2018 and currently serves as an account executive, supporting Randle’s public relations and public affairs clients. In this position, she strengthens the firm’s digital and social media monitoring programs and supports day-to-day operations for Randle’s utility practice including Golden State Water Company and Liberty Utilities. Serrao also supports the firm’s ballot initiative practice.
Prior to joining the Randle team, Serrao completed two internships including work with the Nevada Humane Society in Reno, and most recently with Randle Communications. As an intern for Randle, she participated in the strategy, tactical development and execution of the Golden State Water Company and Bear Valley Electric Service Facebook launches. In addition, Serrao assisted with Sacramento Soccer and Entertainment Holdings’ effort to bring MLS to Sacramento.
Serrao earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations and a minor in American history from University of Nevada, Reno, in May 2017. She was a member of several campus organizations, including Kappa Tau Alpha National Honor Society, but she spent a majority of her time off campus volunteering or assisting local organizations with event coordination.
In her free time, Serrao enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite place to visit is Disneyland. In fact, she makes biannual trips with her childhood best friends and, by her estimation, has visited the park nearly 45 times.
