Justin Garrido joined Randle Communications in 2020 as a video production assistant, supporting clients through the creation of news style, explainer, animated, feature, marketing and testimonials videos.
Garrido brings years of experience in video production, shooting and editing, and has bolstered production capacity of the firm’s growing creative services practice. Most notably, Garrido assisted in the production of the Covered California “Get Covered: Ambassadors” video which featured many notable figures across California, including Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.
Prior to joining the Randle team, Garrido owned and operated his own freelance video business supporting a variety of clients across San Luis Obispo. Garrido also as also has experience serving as a video editor for San Diego Audio Video.
Garrido attended one of the nation’s top undergraduate journalism programs, earning a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, Garrido served as a video producer for Mustang News, leading development of multiple new segments including Mustang News Now, SLO Cooked and Good News. Garrido also assisted on election coverage, graduation and Mustang Gameday, which helped develop his skills in live video production.
In his free time, Garrido likes playing volleyball, building computers and playing esports titles with his friends. Garrido claims to be a Mexican food connoisseur and says it is the best in his hometown of San Diego.
