Alexis Polk joined Randle Communications in May 2019 as a digital account coordinator tasked with supporting the firm’s robust digital practice. A talented and accomplished digital strategist, she plays a key role developing creative content and planning effective campaigns to grow and engage audiences for the firm’s public relations and public affairs clients.
Prior to joining the Randle team, Polk gained valuable public relations, social media and marketing experience as a social and digital content coordinator for Cartography Consulting, a legal marketing firm in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She held the positions of assistant account executive at Intermark Group (Birmingham, Ala.) and social media specialist for the University of Southern Mississippi.
In 2015, Ketchum PR selected Polk as one of two Brand Practice Summer Fellows, providing her the opportunity to work closely with seasoned practitioners in New York City and support with content development, event coordination, brainstorm sessions and client recruitment.
Polk earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with emphases in social media and marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. She was a member of several campus organizations, including the Sigma Alpha Iota international music fraternity, PRSSA, French Club and WUSM Radio. Polk also volunteered for Homes for Humanity and helped organize community events, including a 5k walk/run.
Polk resides in the Pocket area with her husband, Joshua. In her spare time, she enjoys competitive gaming, reading, thrifting, being a Marvel and Disney superfan, building her influencer brand and exploring Sacramento.
